Listen
Hear residents across Mitcham and understand what matters to their neighbourhoods.
I am standing for Mayor because residents deserve leadership that listens carefully, asks difficult questions when necessary and explains decisions openly.

Leadership means listening, setting priorities, building agreement and following through.
My vision is a City of Mitcham where residents are heard, everyday services are delivered well, ratepayer funds are treated with care, decisions are explained openly and both Council and the Administration are accountable for results.

Turn community feedback into clear priorities for the next Council term.
Follow through, explain decisions openly and remain accountable for results.

I plan to meet residents, local businesses, community groups and sporting clubs across Mitcham's six wards and use those conversations to understand what matters most.
Gathering local ideas and priorities.
Residents and community voices.
Listening Locally
What matters in your neighbourhood?
Residents, clubs and local groups.
Final community conversations.

I believe that the mayor's role is to bring people together, not leave them shaking their heads. So, I am asking residents what they would fix first, if they were Mayor for a Day. Because the priorities you set will be the only agenda I will follow.
Informal chats, local visits and open questions across each ward.
Understand residents' concerns, expectations and priorities for their neighbourhoods.
Address matters within Council's role, pursue answers and explain decisions rather than deflecting concerns.
Listen to what residents tell me and use that feedback to develop the priorities I will pursue.
My Council experience from 2014 to 2022 included practical work on spending, community facilities, infrastructure and local issues.
Argued strongly to keep Council rates as low as possible by scrutinising debt and major spending priorities.
Moved the motion to save Carols by the Creek when the event was at risk of being lost.
Put forward a solution involving the Department for Education and the Blackwood Recreation Community Association.
Moved a motion calling for consideration of an amalgamation between the Cities of Mitcham and Unley.
Identified opportunities around footpaths, executive and consultant expenditure, budget efficiencies and major projects.
Advocated for practical action to improve road safety and divert heavy trucks away from Crossroads.
Supported keeping citizenship ceremonies on Australia's national day.
Tell me what you would fix first if you were Mayor for a Day. Your response will help shape the priorities I will pursue during the next Council term.
